We began as hospital accounts receivable collections consultants.   Over time, we learned a great deal about the day-by-day challenges faced by the business office.

We developed and used specialized information system tools to augment revenue and improve revenue resolution rate.

Finally, in 2000, we began a large scale development effort to offer a new generation of these tools for the hospital business office - our Accounts Receivable analysis and reporting service. The service went online in early 2001.

The client was aware of our deep experience with business office processes and documents and our technical capabilities. Since some of our top systems developers have nearly 20 years experience with document imaging, it was a natural fit. We developed our document imaging facility to provide high performance document imaging services specialized for the hospital business office.

It quickly became apparent that the powerful retrieval capabilities resulting from our document imaging service could be leveraged for denials management.

We designed and developed new, specialized internal and Internet-based systems for denials analysis, tracking, and workflow management. We actually used the systems to process denials and to work with client business office users to process denials. In many cases, users of the system achieved a 40% or higher improvement in recovery resolution rates.
